Leader Orientation Course #101 1-2 Hours
** Must be taken before leaders can meet with their troops**

Basic Leadership & Age level training must be completed within 90 days after completing Leader Orientation.  When a Leader or Co/Assistant Leader moves from one age level to another, she/he is required to take the age level training that she/he is moving to.
CPR Course #435 4 Hours
First Aid Course #401 4 Hours
Child CPR (for children 1-8) Course #416 1-2 Hours
First Aid & CPR classes are required before leaders can take their troop from their meeting site, on any trips or camping, and many troop activities.  The council sponsors CPR/First Aid workshops, however, if you are unable to attend a scheduled training, contact the local American Red Cross, American Heart Association or your local Fire Department for additional training times, location and & cost.  If you take the training outside the council offerings, documentation must be submitted by sending a copy of your certification card(s) to the Adult Development Director
Overnight Adventurers Course #199 3-3.5 Hours
This course is required before your troop can take any overnight trips, whether at the Program Service Center, Oakwood Knoll Lodge, camping, hotels, etc.
Troop Camping Course #302 7-8 Hours
This course is required before your troop can do any form of camping.
Enrichment Course and Training Events 1-3 Hours
These additional course & special training events give leaders ideas for songs, games, crafts, etc. that are not covered in Age Level training.  See the Training Calendar for the special training events.
Mini-Workshops   30-45 Mins.
Short workshops provided at the Service Unit Meetings which discuss a specific topic more in depth.
